Pakistan reports the death of 29 militants in security operations along the Afghan border.

Pakistan’s Security Forces Eliminate 29 Terrorists in Border Operations

Minister of Information Confirms Successful Operations

Pakistan’s Minister of Information, Attaullah Tarar, announced the death of 29 terrorists during recent security operations conducted by Pakistani forces along the border with Afghanistan and within Afghan territory. These operations followed a series of terrorist attacks that have plagued the country in recent weeks.

Details of the Security Operations in Pakistan

Minister Tarar explained that these operations relied on precise intelligence and targeted the hideouts of the banned groups, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, in border regions. Notably, on June 28, Pakistani forces executed a mission in Bajaur, resulting in the death of a prominent terrorist leader known as Khan Farosh, also referred to as “Zabal.” Additionally, three other members of what the minister described as the “Indian agent Jamaat-ul-Ahrar” were killed during this operation.

Operations Inside Afghanistan

In a related effort, Pakistani forces conducted operations within Afghan territories, specifically in the provinces of Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar. These actions led to the elimination of 25 terrorists and the destruction of significant stockpiles of weapons and ammunition. This underscores Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to combating terrorism in the region.

Pakistan’s Commitment to Counterterrorism

Minister Tarar reaffirmed that the armed forces will persist in their pursuit of terrorist groups until all threats to the nation’s security and stability are eradicated. His statements reflect the Pakistani government’s continuous efforts to enhance security and ensure the safety of its citizens.
