The Traffic Police Department in Marib is actively preparing for the Arab Traffic Week, which will occur from May 4 to May 10. Concurrently, the Traffic Police in Shabwa have announced that they have successfully completed all preparations for the upcoming activities aimed at enhancing road safety.
Colonel Ghanem Marah, the Director of Traffic Police in Marib, shared insights during an interview with the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) about the primary objectives of Arab Traffic Week. He emphasized that the initiative seeks to promote a culture of traffic safety and to educate the public on traffic regulations. The overarching aim is to reduce accidents and lessen both human and material losses. Colonel Marah assured that all preparatory work has been meticulously completed, leveraging the department’s accumulated experience and partnerships with various official and unofficial entities.
