Police in Al-Dhale' Report Significant Crime Control in October

The police department in Al-Dhale’ announced a successful month of operations, reporting the resolution of 125 criminal cases and four non-criminal incidents in October. This achievement highlights the department’s commitment to maintaining public safety and order in the region.

High Arrest Rate and Ongoing Investigations

According to the Morale Guidance and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior, police apprehended 146 suspects out of a total of 151, achieving an impressive arrest rate of 97%. Authorities continue to search for the remaining fugitives, demonstrating their determination to bring all offenders to justice.

Legal Proceedings and Case Management

The police referred 29 cases to the Public Prosecution and directed 15 cases to specialized agencies for further action. They suspended proceedings on five cases, while ten others remain in the legal process. Notably, four crimes lack identified perpetrators and are still under investigation. Additionally, 66 cases concluded with resolutions through reconciliation or withdrawal by the victims, showcasing the effectiveness of alternative dispute resolution methods.

The proactive measures taken by the Al-Dhale’ police not only reflect an efficient law enforcement strategy but also contribute to community safety. Continued efforts in crime prevention and resolution will likely foster a more secure environment for residents in the region.
