Kuwait City, Kuwait – Dr. Ali Mansour bin Saffar, the Yemeni Ambassador to Kuwait, met today with Walid Shumlan Al-Bahr, the Acting Director General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. The two officials addressed a range of developmental issues and projects funded by the Kuwaiti Fund in Yemen.
During their meeting, Ambassador bin Saffar and Engineer Al-Bahr focused on the initiative to establish 12 community colleges in Yemen. They reviewed the progress made on this strategic project, which stands as one of the most significant ongoing development efforts in the country.
Ambassador bin Saffar expressed gratitude for the support provided by the State of Kuwait for various developmental projects in Yemen. He emphasized the importance of this collaboration in fostering growth and stability in the region.
Engineer Al-Bahr reaffirmed the significance of the community college project, highlighting the necessity of completing it according to the established timeline. He committed to providing all forms of support to the youth of Yemen through this initiative and other development projects funded by the Kuwait Fund.
This meeting underscores the ongoing partnership between Yemen and Kuwait in advancing educational and developmental initiatives that aim to empower the Yemeni population.
