In a significant development for the local community, 100 young refugees and host community members in the Dar Saad district of Aden have received vocational training tools as part of an economic empowerment initiative. This project is funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Aboud Naji, the Director General of Dar Saad, emphasized the significance of such projects in fostering humanitarian responses and comprehensive development. He noted that improving infrastructure and basic services is crucial for the country’s progress. Naji also highlighted the importance of strengthening partnerships with UNHCR to support and enhance educational and training processes.
Mohammed Nasri, the Director of the UNHCR office in Aden, reiterated the agency’s commitment to improving living conditions and ensuring the dignity of individuals. The UNHCR continues to work towards providing essential resources and support to vulnerable populations in the region.
