Today, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Taher Al-Aqeeli convened a significant meeting with the Logistics Support Authority in Aden, Yemen’s temporary capital. The primary objective of this gathering was to enhance operational performance and strengthen support for military units, ensuring that their field needs are effectively addressed.
During the meeting, Lieutenant General Al-Aqeeli received a comprehensive briefing from Major General Ali Al-Fadhli, Deputy Head of the Authority. The session was attended by several key military leaders, including Major General Ahmed Al-Basri, Deputy Chief of General Staff; Major General Saleh Hassan, Assistant Minister of Defense for Logistics; and Major General Masfer Al-Harithi, Deputy Inspector General. The briefing encompassed ongoing operations, completed tasks, current challenges, and strategies for improvement, all aimed at enhancing the efficiency of logistical support.
In his remarks, the Minister of Defense underscored the vital importance of integration and teamwork among logistics specialists. He asserted that such collaboration is essential for positively impacting performance levels and achieving tangible results in military operations. Furthermore, he highlighted the necessity for high coordination and harmony in task execution, which are crucial for the overall effectiveness of military operations.
Lieutenant General Al-Aqeeli also stressed the need for transparency and accountability in logistical processes. He called for the establishment of institutional work and the activation of all departments in accordance with existing regulations.
