Today, Sheikh Turki Al-Wadaei, the Minister of Awqaf and Guidance, presided over the High Advisory Committee meeting dedicated to the Hajj season of 1447 AH. The primary focus of the meeting was to delineate the committee’s responsibilities and its critical role in facilitating a successful pilgrimage season.
During the meeting, attendees engaged in discussions regarding the committee’s function in supporting the Hajj mission and addressing potential challenges. Minister Al-Wadaei received a comprehensive report from Dr. Mohammed Al-Haj, the committee chair. This report presented an analysis of last year’s pilgrimage, including insights from the Hajj and Umrah sector. Key challenges were identified, along with proposed solutions aimed at enhancing overall efficiency.
The Minister emphasized the significance of the committee’s advisory and oversight roles. He reiterated the necessity of harnessing the expertise of committee members to assess performance and improve operational frameworks.
