The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center has predicted varied weather conditions for today, Friday. Coastal areas and their surroundings can expect mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Daytime temperatures will be hot, while nights will be mild. Light rain may fall on parts of the Socotra Archipelago, with light to moderate winds prevailing.
In its daily weather report, which the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received, the center indicated that mountainous regions will experience cloudy to partly cloudy conditions. Thunderstorms of varying intensity may occur in parts of the western highlands. Meanwhile, desert and plateau areas will remain clear and hot during the day, with moderate to active winds stirring up dust and sand.

The center has issued warnings to citizens in areas expecting rainfall. Residents should avoid riverbeds and flood-prone areas during thunderstorms. The center urges everyone to follow necessary guidelines to prevent heat-related illnesses.
In its daily marine bulletin, the center forecasts calm seas along the coasts of Hadramout, Shabwa, Bab al-Mandab, and the western coasts. The coasts of Abyan and Aden will experience light to moderate waves, while the coasts of Al-Mahra will see moderate waves. The Socotra Archipelago will face moderate to rough seas.
Furthermore, the center warns fishermen and sea-goers around the Socotra Archipelago and eastern coasts about potential sea disturbances, high waves, and strong winds.
