The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center predicts mild temperatures along the coastal areas and nearby regions today, Sunday. The forecast indicates partly cloudy skies with a chance of scattered rain along the southern and western coasts, accompanied by active winds.
According to the daily weather report, which the Yemen News Agency (Saba) received, the mountainous regions will experience dry and cold weather, particularly during the night and early morning. There is also a possibility of scattered rain and fog formation in some areas. Meanwhile, the desert and plateau regions will see dry and somewhat dusty conditions, with moderate daytime temperatures and cooler nights. Winds in these areas will range from light to moderate.

The center has reiterated its warning to residents in elevated mountainous areas about low temperatures. Citizens, especially children and the elderly, should take necessary precautions. Additionally, the center cautioned drivers in mountainous regions about reduced visibility due to fog and rain.
In its daily marine report, the Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center anticipates calm seas along the coasts of Al-Mahra and Hadramout. The coasts of Abyan, Aden, and the Socotra Archipelago will experience light to moderate waves. The waters off Shabwa, Bab al-Mandab, and the western coasts will see moderate waves as well. The center warns fishermen and sea-goers along the southwestern and western coasts, as well as in the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea, about potential sea disturbances and strong winds.
