The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s weather prediction center announced today, Thursday, that coastal areas and their surroundings will experience partly cloudy skies with moderate temperatures. There is a possibility of scattered rain in parts of the southern coasts and the Socotra Archipelago. Winds will remain light to moderate along the eastern coasts, while they will be active at Bab al-Mandab and the southwestern and western coasts, stirring up dust and sand.
According to the daily weather report, the mountainous regions will see clear skies with very cold conditions in parts of the western and southwestern highlands. The southern highlands and interior plateaus will experience cold to very cold temperatures. Meanwhile, desert and plateau areas will enjoy clear and moderate weather during the day, but temperatures will drop at night, accompanied by occasionally moderate winds.

The center warns citizens, especially the elderly and children, about the drop in temperatures during the night and early morning. It urges everyone to take necessary precautions. Farmers, livestock breeders, and beekeepers should also implement essential measures to protect their assets.
In its daily marine report, the center predicts calm sea conditions along the coasts of Al-Mahra, Hadramaut, Shabwa, and the Socotra Archipelago. The coasts of Abyan and Aden will see light to moderate waves, while the waters at Bab al-Mandab and the western coasts will experience moderate waves. The Arabian Sea and Gulf of Aden will have light to moderate conditions, while the Red Sea may see moderate to rough waves.
The center also cautions sea-goers, fishermen, and ship captains in the southwestern and western coasts, as well as the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, about potential sea disturbances, high waves, and strong winds.
