Honoring the Fallen: A Tribute to Yemeni Armed Forces Heroes

On Saturday, the province of Marib witnessed a solemn ceremony honoring the fallen heroes of the Armed Forces from the Third Military Region and the Dhammar Axis. These brave soldiers lost their lives while defending the revolution, the republic, and national achievements against the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.

Official Funeral Ceremony

The official funeral took place with great respect. The fallen soldiers were carried on the shoulders of honor guards, wrapped in the national flag. A military band played solemn music as the procession made its way to the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Marib City. Attendees included Major General Adel Al-Qamiri, the Inspector General of the Armed Forces, along with various leaders from the Ministry of Defense, military and security officials, Dhammar Governor Fadl Al-Harbi, resistance leaders, tribal sheikhs, and family members of the martyrs.

Acknowledging Sacrifice

During the ceremony, Major General Al-Qamiri praised the sacrifices made by the Armed Forces in their quest to restore state institutions and confront the Houthi militia’s destructive agenda. He expressed his condolences to the families of the fallen and emphasized that the sacrifices of the army and popular resistance would remain etched in the memories of the Yemeni people.

Commitment to the Cause

The attendees pledged to continue the fight in honor of the martyrs until they liberate the entire homeland, restore the state, and build its institutions. They vowed to defeat the Houthi militia and safeguard the nation’s resources and achievements.

This tribute not only honors the bravery of the fallen but also reinforces the commitment of the Yemeni people to their national cause.
