Minister of Defense Visits Frontline Positions in Saada

On Saturday, October 14, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Dr. Mohsen Al-Dhaeri conducted a field visit to the battlefronts of the Kattaf and Al-Buq’a regions in Saada Governorate. The visit aimed to assess the ongoing combat operations and the conditions of the troops stationed at the front lines.

Accompanied by Military Leaders

During his tour, the minister was joined by several key military figures, including the Head of the Logistics Support Authority, Major General Abdulaziz Al-Faqih, and the Commander of the Fifth Military Region, Major General Yahya Salah. Together, they conveyed the greetings of the senior political and military leadership to the fighters on the ground.

High Morale and Readiness

The visit included advanced positions in the Kattaf front, where the minister praised the steadfastness and high readiness of the troops. He noted their continuous resistance against Houthi militia attacks, emphasizing that these brave fighters are crucial for the ongoing liberation efforts and the restoration of the state.

Importance of Training and Vigilance

Lieutenant General Al-Dhaeri stressed the necessity of ongoing training and maintaining combat discipline. He highlighted that these efforts ensure the troops remain prepared to face any challenges that may arise.

Operational Briefing

Additionally, the minister listened to a brief presentation from the Commander of the Kattaf and Al-Buq’a fronts, Major General Raddad Al-Hashimi. The briefing covered troop deployment, operational and training plans, and the field missions assigned to them as part of the military operations in the governorate.

This visit underscores the commitment of Yemen’s military leadership to support its forces and enhance their capabilities in the ongoing conflict.
