The State of Kuwait has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack targeting the East-West pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions. This attack involved drones originating from Iraqi territory and resulted in human injuries and material damage, according to the current report.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that this assault represents a serious escalation and a blatant violation of international law and humanitarian law. It also poses a threat to energy supply security and regional stability.
The ministry emphasized the necessity for the Iraqi government to take the required measures to ensure that its territory does not serve as a launchpad for such attacks. It urged the government to work on halting these actions and preventing their recurrence.
Kuwait reiterated its complete solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, stability, and interests.
