The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has officially launched a significant project to drill three artesian wells in Taiz Governorate. This initiative is designed to enhance sustainable access to safe and clean water for the residents of Taiz. Funded by the Center, this project is part of a broader effort to improve water resources and address pressing humanitarian needs in the region.
Project Details and Infrastructure Enhancements
The drilling project will involve constructing wells with an average depth of 400 meters each. Each well will be equipped with submersible pumping units along with all necessary technical accessories. Furthermore, integrated solar energy systems will be installed to ensure continuous operation while reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
In addition to drilling new wells, the project will also upgrade three existing wells by supplying, installing, and operating solar energy systems. This enhancement will significantly improve the efficiency of these water sources.
