The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has initiated the distribution of 1,160 food baskets in Abyan Governorate. This effort marks the second phase of the Emergency Food Assistance Project in Yemen, designed to support families in need, displaced individuals, teachers, and host families throughout the region.
Mahdi Al-Hamid, the Secretary-General of the Local Council in Abyan Governorate, commended the ongoing support from Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Center. He highlighted that this aid significantly alleviates the hardships faced by residents and addresses their essential food requirements.
