King Salman Center signs agreements to support the operation of a dialysis center in Al-Mahra and nutrition clinics in Al-Hudaydah.

King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center Signs Two Key Agreements

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center recently signed two significant agreements via video conference. These agreements aim to enhance healthcare services in Yemen, particularly in the Al-Mahrah and Al-Hudaydah governorates.

New Dialysis Center in Al-Mahrah

The first agreement focuses on the fourth phase of a project to operate a dialysis center in Al-Ghaydah, Al-Mahrah. This initiative will benefit 820 individuals suffering from kidney failure.

Engineer Ahmed Al-Bayz, the Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs at the center, signed the agreement. The project will establish a comprehensive facility that provides hemodialysis treatment. The center will serve 430 patients monthly, offering 5,160 regular dialysis sessions and 20 emergency sessions.

Emergency Nutritional Clinics in Al-Hudaydah

In addition, the center signed a partnership with a civil society organization to implement the tenth phase of emergency nutritional clinics for displaced individuals in Al-Hudaydah. Engineer Ahmed bin Ali Al-Bayz also signed this agreement.

This project will deliver integrated health services, including therapeutic nutrition, vaccinations, reproductive health services, and pediatric care. It will also address epidemic diseases, provide health education, and ensure treatment for injuries. Furthermore, the initiative will secure essential medications, medical solutions, laboratory supplies, and medical equipment in Al-Hudaydah and its districts. This effort aims to support approximately 300,544 individuals.

Conclusion

These agreements reflect the King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center’s commitment to improving healthcare access in Yemen. By enhancing dialysis services in Al-Mahrah and establishing emergency nutritional clinics in Al-Hudaydah, the center aims to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable populations in the region.
