The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has initiated the second phase of the “Kifak” project, aimed at reintegrating Yemeni children previously affected by armed conflict. This phase takes place in the Hadhramaut Valley.
This phase includes rehabilitation for 25 children through psychological, social, sports, and cultural activities. Additionally, the children will receive education and comprehensive healthcare. This holistic approach aims to rebuild their lives and empower them for a secure future.
The project also offers vocational training for the children’s parents. It provides economic empowerment tools and training in sewing and pastry-making. These initiatives aim to improve their livelihoods and enhance family stability.
Aamer Al-Amri, the Deputy Governor of Hadhramaut for the Valley and Desert districts, expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Salman Center. He praised the quality interventions that address community needs and emphasized the project’s importance in supporting children affected by conflict and facilitating their reintegration into society.
