King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center Launches Food Distribution Project in Taiz

Today, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center initiated a new project to distribute 3,640 food baskets to the most vulnerable families and displaced individuals in Taiz Governorate. This initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of affected populations and enhance food security in the region.

Distribution Details

The food distribution will occur in two main areas:

  • 2,200 food baskets in the city of Taiz
  • 1,440 food baskets in the Al-Mokha district

This intervention will support thousands of beneficiaries, addressing a portion of their essential food needs.

Local Praise for Saudi Support

Mohammed Al-Sanwi, the Deputy Governor of Taiz, commended the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the King Salman Center. He acknowledged the contributions of the Yemeni Development and Humanitarian Foundation in implementing and delivering aid to those in need. Al-Sanwi emphasized the importance of continuing and expanding humanitarian interventions in the governorate. He also highlighted the need for enhanced coordination with local authorities to ensure that assistance reaches targeted groups based on actual priorities and needs.
