On Saturday, the Yemeni Armed Forces successfully intercepted a drone belonging to the Houthi militia while it was flying over military positions in the Al-Salou front in southern Taiz province. This information comes from a report by the 35th Armored Brigade’s media team.
The statement highlighted that the brigade’s defenses managed to bring down the drone during its flight over the battlefield. This incident underscores the high vigilance and ongoing readiness of the 35th Armored Brigade. A military source confirmed that the brigade remains in a constant state of preparedness to counter any Houthi attempts to target the armed forces’ positions.
In recent weeks, the Houthi militia has intensified its hostile operations against the army’s positions in Taiz. They have launched attacks and attempted infiltrations across several fronts. However, the readiness of government forces has thwarted all these attempts.
The situation in Taiz remains tense as the Yemeni Armed Forces continue to defend their territory against Houthi aggression. The commitment of the 35th Armored Brigade to maintaining security and stability in the region remains strong.
