Today, several cities and towns in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem experienced a series of attacks by settlers, alongside incursions by Israeli forces. These incidents resulted in injuries, the arrest of a young man, and the use of live ammunition and tear gas. Authorities also issued demolition orders for homes and structures.
In Nablus, settlers targeted homes in the Masoudiya area, located northwest of the city, firing live ammunition at them. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. However, a citizen and his son sustained bruises after settlers assaulted them in the village of Yasid, north of Nablus. Additionally, a woman suffered injuries when her vehicle was attacked near the Itamar settlement, leading to a traffic accident that required her hospitalization.
In Ramallah, settlers seized construction materials belonging to local citizens in the agricultural area of Turmus Ayya, located north of the city. Meanwhile, in Tubas, Israeli forces arrested a young man from the Al-Far’a refugee camp after summoning him for interrogation at the Salem military camp. These incidents highlight the ongoing violations faced by Palestinians in the occupied territories.
Israeli forces issued demolition orders for seven homes and four commercial structures in the town of Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem, citing unauthorized construction. Additionally, several citizens experienced suffocation during an incursion into the town of Al-Jib, northwest of Jerusalem, due to the heavy use of tear gas by Israeli troops.
In Hebron, Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar, south of the city, indiscriminately firing tear gas and sound bombs. They also invaded two homes in the Jaber neighborhood of the old city, rummaging through their contents. Three women and their children were detained at a military checkpoint, preventing them from returning to their homes. These raids signify a notable escalation in Israeli violations against Palestinians.
The situation remains tense as these incidents continue to unfold, drawing attention to the ongoing conflict in the region.
