Israel has intensified its airstrikes targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut, shortly after issuing evacuation orders for local residents. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that late-night attacks on Saturday struck the Adaisseh area in the southeast. In response, Hezbollah announced clashes with Israeli forces in the region.
Lebanese media confirmed that Israel conducted over five airstrikes in southern Beirut, with four of them classified as “very intense.” The National News Agency stated, “The Israeli enemy’s warplanes executed four extremely powerful airstrikes on the southern suburbs, along with one strike on the Choueifat area, prompting ambulances to rush to the scene.”
The ongoing military operations have raised concerns about the safety and well-being of civilians in the affected areas. Emergency services are mobilizing to assist those injured or impacted by the airstrikes, highlighting the urgent need for humanitarian support amid escalating tensions.
As the situation develops, the international community continues to monitor the conflict, urging both sides to seek a peaceful resolution.
