In a significant stride towards enhancing healthcare through education, Mukalla, Hadhramaut, witnessed the commencement of the Third International Conference on Medical Education Development today. The College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Al-Arab University, in collaboration with the Middle East Association for Medical Education (AMEEMR), organized this pivotal event.
Impressive Participation and Scholarly Contributions
The two-day conference boasts participation from 600 attendees, both in-person and virtually, representing 30 universities across 10 Arab and foreign countries. It features the presentation of 34 research papers, highlighting the global commitment to advancing medical education.
Government and Academic Leaders Rally for Research
Dr. Khaled Basalim, the Deputy Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research for Educational Affairs, expressed optimism about the resurgence of research activities in leading universities. With the presence of Dr. Mohammed Said Khnbash, President of Hadhramaut University, and deans from various medical and health science colleges, Basalim praised Al-Arab University for organizing this quality conference aimed at examining the current state of medical education.
