International and Arab condemnation continues to grow regarding the recent terrorist attacks launched by the Houthi militia against several cities and civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia. These attacks have been described as a serious escalation that threatens regional security and international navigation in the Red Sea.
The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned the Houthi attacks, expressing its full support for Saudi Arabia. The Egyptian government emphasized that targeting civilian sites constitutes a blatant violation of international law and poses a threat to the region’s security and stability.
The Muslim World League denounced the heinous aggression, asserting that these attacks violate religious values and international norms. The organization reiterated its complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures taken to protect its security and resources.
Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, President of the Arab Parliament, condemned the criminal assaults, declaring that Saudi Arabia’s security is a red line. He noted that any harm to it represents a direct threat to Arab national security. Al-Yamahi called on the United Nations Security Council to take immediate action to halt the Houthi escalation.
Numerous Arab countries and regional and international organizations have also issued condemnations, all emphasizing their rejection of the Houthi attacks. They expressed support for Saudi Arabia in its efforts to confront threats to its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens.
