Houthi Militia Kills Teacher and Son in Drone Strike
A citizen was killed, and his son was injured due to a drone strike carried out by the Houthi militia. The attack targeted their motorcycle on the road connecting Hays and Al-Khawkhah in southern Al-Hudaydah Governorate.
According to local sources, the militia targeted teacher Mohammed Omar Aqad and his son Younis with a projectile from a drone, resulting in their immediate deaths while they were traveling from Hays to Al-Khawkhah.
Another Crime on the Same Route
This incident coincided with another brutal attack by the Houthi militia on the same road. The militia opened fire on a displaced family, killing three individuals and injuring three others, most of whom were children.
These assaults form part of a series of violations committed by the militia against civilians in liberated areas. The ongoing military escalation threatens the lives of residents and undermines stability efforts.
