HUMAIN Launches Horizon Ultra PC at LEAP 2026

HUMAIN, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, unveiled the HUMAIN Horizon Ultra PC in collaboration with Qualcomm during the LEAP 2026 conference. This device stands out as one of the first next-generation personal computers designed to run artificial intelligence (AI) directly on the device, minimizing reliance on cloud computing.

A New Era of Personal Computing

According to Qualcomm’s statement, the Horizon Ultra aims to deliver advanced AI capabilities directly to users. The initial version will operate on the familiar Windows system. In 2027, HUMAIN plans to introduce a new operating system, HUMAIN OS, to enhance the integration of AI within personal computing environments.

Powered by Snapdragon X2 Elite Platform

The Horizon Ultra relies on the Snapdragon X2 Elite platform, featuring an 18-core Qualcomm Oryon processor, an Adreno GPU, and a dedicated Hexagon NPU for accelerating AI tasks. This architecture allows the device to run advanced AI models locally, with the option to transition to cloud services for additional capabilities. This design enhances privacy and data sovereignty by keeping sensitive tasks on the device.

Targeted AI Capabilities for Enterprises and Content Creation

The Horizon Ultra offers faster and more responsive AI experiences across various sectors, including:

  • Enterprise productivity
  • Content creation
  • Multimedia AI
  • AI agents

Commercial Availability

Following its debut at LEAP 2026, the Horizon Ultra will be available for enterprises running Windows starting September 20, 2026. AlFalak will manage sales and delivery for the device.

A Year of Collaborative Development

The launch of the Horizon Ultra follows over 12 months of design and development efforts between HUMAIN and Qualcomm. Their goal was to create a new generation of personal computing centered around local AI.

CEO of HUMAIN, Tarek Amin, stated, “The personal computer is transforming into an intelligence platform. Over the past months, HUMAIN and Qualcomm have worked to design this future, enabling more powerful AI to run directly on the device.” He added, “Today at LEAP, we showcase what this future looks like. We begin leveraging our partnership with Microsoft, and in 2027, we will take the next step with HUMAIN OS, making AI an integral part of the device.”
