Phone Call to Yemeni Gas Company Executive
Today, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, reached out to Engineer Mohsen Waheit, the Executive Director of the Yemeni Gas Company. During the call, Dr. Al-Alimi expressed his condolences for the passing of their father, the late Sheikh Hamad Bin Saleh Bin Waheit. Sheikh Hamad, a dedicated patriot, passed away after a life devoted to serving his country.

Dr. Al-Alimi emphasized that Sheikh Hamad was among the first founders of the Marib tribes’ resistance in Nakhlah and Al-Suhail, mobilizing efforts against the Houthi coup in September 2014. Throughout his struggle, he engaged in numerous battles across various fronts, often leading from the front lines and sustaining injuries while defending his homeland.

Dr. Al-Alimi noted that Sheikh Hamad represented a commendable national model of courage, steadfastness, and sacrifice. His impactful presence helped unify tribal factions and bolster Marib’s resilience against the coup project. The nation has lost a loyal servant with his passing.
