Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi Meets UK MP to Discuss Yemen’s Future
In London, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, a member of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council, met with British MP Tahir Ali, who leads the parliamentary group on Yemen. The meeting took place in the presence of Yemen’s Ambassador to the UK, Dr. Yassin Saeed Noman.

He noted that the Houthi militias rejected these solutions, continuing to exploit citizens’ suffering and obstruct flight operations, thereby exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.

Dr. Al-Alimi stressed the need for the international community to hold the Houthi militias accountable. He urged them to stop exploiting the people’s suffering and to cease using airport operations for political and military purposes. He reiterated that Yemeni citizens bear the brunt of the militias’ obstinacy and refusal to accept available legal options.

The Presidential Leadership Council member pointed out that the Houthi militias continue to hinder peace efforts.
