Opening of the Army-2024 International Forum
Yemen’s Defense Minister, Major General Mohsen Mohammed Al-Daeri, attended the opening ceremony of the Army-2024 International Military Technical Forum. The event kicked off at the Patriot Expo and Conference Center, a venue operated by the Russian Armed Forces, located in Kubinka, on the outskirts of Moscow. The forum, which began today, will run until August 14.
Exploring Military Innovations
During his visit, the Defense Minister explored the vast exhibition halls of the forum. The event showcases over 20,000 pieces and models of military equipment and products. These are presented by more than 1,000 local and international companies and institutions, spread across an area of 340,000 square meters.
A Platform for Dialogue and Innovation
The forum features a series of conferences and dialogue sessions that cover various topics related to military technologies and armaments. These events provide a platform for experts and industry leaders to discuss the latest developments and trends in the field.

Accompanying the Defense Minister were several notable figures, including the Chief of Military Intelligence, Major General Ahmed Mohsen Al-Yafei, and the Yemeni Military Attaché in Moscow, Brigadier General Fouad Al-Muhtadi.
This participation underscores Yemen’s interest in fostering international military cooperation and keeping abreast of the latest advancements in military technology.
