The number of Palestinians who have lost their lives since dawn on Wednesday has tragically reached nine, according to medical sources. This distressing figure includes individuals who succumbed to gunfire from Israeli forces, underscoring the escalating humanitarian conditions in the region.
Reports indicate that among the deceased, four individuals were killed by Israeli gunfire in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, while one person lost their life in the southern region. Additionally, four other individuals died from injuries sustained in previous bombings that targeted various areas within the territory.
Local sources have further reported that Israeli aircraft targeted a group of civilians near the Jabalia area on Al-Wahda Street in the central Gaza neighborhood of Al-Daraj. This airstrike resulted in one death and left several others injured, reflecting the intensifying military operations in the region.
Earlier, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced that the overall death toll due to Israeli aggression has now reached 72,619, with 172,484 individuals injured since October 7, 2023. These alarming figures highlight the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza, where residents are facing dire conditions as military escalations continue.
The situation in Gaza calls for urgent action from the international community to intervene and alleviate the suffering of civilians. As military operations persist and casualties continue to rise, there remains a hope for achieving peace and security in the region.
