Sheikh Othman Majli Inspects Military Forces in Saada

Sheikh Othman Majli, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, conducted a field visit today to several military sites in the Baqim district of Saada Governorate. This area falls under the jurisdiction of the Second Emergency Brigade and the Azal and War One Axis.

Reception by Military Leaders

Upon arrival, Sheikh Majli received a warm welcome from Major General Yasser Hussein Majli, the commander of the Second Emergency Brigade, along with Brigadier Abu Jabr Al-Ghanimi, the assistant commander, and Colonel Adib Al-Shahab, the brigade’s chief of staff. They were joined by various leaders, officers, and soldiers stationed at different locations.

Assessment of Military Readiness

During the visit, Majli assessed the military forces’ conditions and their level of preparedness. He noted the high morale and combat spirit among the troops as they face the Houthi enemy and its Iranian-backed terrorist militias.

Greetings from the President

Majli conveyed greetings from the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, and his fellow members of the Presidential Leadership Council. He expressed appreciation to the leaders, officers, and soldiers stationed at the front lines, operations rooms, and command and control centers.

Acknowledgment of Heroic Efforts

Majli praised the heroic efforts of the troops across various fronts. He recognized those who monitor enemy movements and work tirelessly to secure citizens’ lives and liberate them from the Iranian agenda that has afflicted Yemen with the Houthi terrorist militias.

Briefing on Operational Environment

Majli listened to briefings from military leaders regarding the operational environment, the brigade’s field activities, the drone unit, military equipment manufacturing and maintenance, and the training and qualification levels of the soldiers. He emphasized the importance of enhancing military capabilities.

Appreciation for Saudi Support

Majli expressed deep gratitude, on behalf of himself and his fellow members of the Presidential Leadership Council, for the generous support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He acknowledged the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman for their ongoing cooperation and assistance to their Yemeni counterparts in achieving victory and restoring state institutions.

Commitment to the Mission

In a speech delivered at the Second Emergency Brigade headquarters, Sheikh Othman Majli stated, “We have come to you on a field visit commissioned by the Presidential Leadership Council to understand your tasks and needs, and to stand with you closely in the trench of honor and defense of this homeland.”

He added, “You, as leaders, officers, and soldiers, know the Houthi enemy and their military escalation in some fronts. Maintain your morale and the strength of your forces, and work to develop them to serve the battle and restore state institutions.”

Confidence in the Troops

Majli expressed strong confidence in the troops’ ability to teach the Houthi enemy historical lessons, highlighting their success in liberating vast areas of Saada Governorate. He honored the martyrs who shed their blood for Yemen across various provinces.

He concluded, “What I have seen in terms of presence, morale, and achievements deserves thanks and praise. Stand together, support one another, and maintain high spirits.”

Unity in the Fight

Majli emphasized the importance of unity, stating, “We are today one family, one team, and one battle. Be like a beehive in construction, training, and combat, to become a solid thorn in the side of the Houthi enemy. Our cause is just, a matter of right against wrong, and the crimes they have committed against Yemen are unforgivable.”

Operational Situation Overview

In turn, military leaders discussed the operational situation and the area of operations for the Second Emergency Brigade and the Azal and War One Axis. They reviewed the operational map, human resources, and combat points across Yemen.

The leaders appreciated Sheikh Othman Majli’s visit, conveying their gratitude to the President and members of the Presidential Leadership Council, while reiterating their thanks for the brotherly support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the leadership of the joint forces.
