Urgent Fuel Supply to Power Plants in Aden

Leadership Directives Address Electricity Crisis

Lieutenant General Sultan Al-Arada, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, has directed the Safer Company to increase the supply of crude oil from the Safer fields in Marib Governorate to the power generation stations in Aden. This initiative aligns with the urgent directives from Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, aimed at resolving the ongoing electricity crisis and restoring service to citizens promptly.

Call for Swift Action

General Al-Arada urged the leadership of Safer Company to expedite the provision of necessary fuel supplies to the power plants in Aden. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that these facilities receive adequate quantities of crude oil to resume operations effectively.

Acknowledgment of Public Struggles

The general acknowledged the political leadership and government’s full understanding of the hardships faced by residents in Aden due to the electricity outages. He highlighted the significant impact of these power disruptions on daily life and various vital sectors within the city.

Severe Electricity Shortage in Aden

Aden currently faces a severe electricity crisis, with power generation stations completely halted due to a lack of fuel. This situation has persisted since last Tuesday, leaving residents without essential electricity services.

The ongoing efforts to address this crisis reflect the commitment of the leadership to improve living conditions for the people of Aden. As the situation develops, the focus remains on restoring power and ensuring a reliable energy supply for the city.
