On Saturday, Major General Aidarus al-Zubaidi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, welcomed Idris Ahmed Abubakar, the Libyan Ambassador to Yemen, in Aden, the temporary capital of Yemen. The two leaders discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between Yemen and Libya.
At the beginning of the meeting, al-Zubaidi expressed his warm welcome to the Libyan ambassador. He praised the strong historical ties that unite the two nations and emphasized the political leadership’s commitment to developing these relationships. The goal is to serve mutual interests across various sectors.
The meeting addressed several important issues, particularly focusing on economic and developmental cooperation. Additionally, the leaders discussed establishing a permanent location for the Libyan diplomatic mission in Aden.
