Meeting Between Yemeni Leadership and UK Ambassador

On Thursday, Major General Faraj Al-Bahsani, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, met with the British Ambassador to Yemen, Abda Sharif. The two discussed recent developments in local and regional situations, aiming to strengthen the shared positions between the two friendly nations.

Review of Presidential Council Efforts

During the meeting, Al-Bahsani highlighted the efforts of the Presidential Council over the past months. He addressed the various challenges the council faces across different sectors. Additionally, he emphasized the council’s commitment to combating corruption and the importance of enhancing transparency and accountability. These measures are crucial for implementing institutional reforms that benefit the citizens.

Impact of Houthi Designation as a Terrorist Group

The discussion also covered the implications of classifying the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization. Al-Bahsani outlined the role of the Presidential Leadership Council in managing this critical issue.
