Yemeni Leadership Acknowledges Korean Contributions
Lieutenant General Aidarus al-Zubaidi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, praised the strong bilateral relations between Yemen and the Republic of Korea. During a meeting with the Korean Ambassador to Yemen, Bong Kai-do, al-Zubaidi emphasized the council’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Seoul across various sectors.
Humanitarian Aid Amidst Economic Challenges
In their discussion, al-Zubaidi expressed gratitude for the humanitarian support provided by Korea. This assistance plays a crucial role in alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people, who face severe economic hardships due to the ongoing conflict instigated by Houthi militias. Al-Zubaidi specifically commended the leading humanitarian role of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
