Yemeni Ambassador Discusses Strengthening Cooperation at the UN

The Permanent Representative of Yemen to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah Al-Saadi, recently engaged in discussions with the permanent representatives of Greece, Somalia, Denmark, and Pakistan. These meetings focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the realm of multilateral efforts.

Political and Humanitarian Developments in Yemen

During his discussions, Ambassador Al-Saadi highlighted the current political landscape, economic challenges, and humanitarian conditions in Yemen. He outlined the ongoing efforts to achieve peace and addressed regional developments that impact security and stability. The ambassador emphasized the significant role that these friendly nations could play through their membership in the UN Security Council. Their support could help advance the peace process in Yemen and aid in the political resolution of the conflict, ultimately alleviating the humanitarian suffering faced by the Yemeni people.

Commitment to Peace and Regional Cooperation

Ambassador Al-Saadi reiterated the Yemeni government’s commitment to pursuing peace.
