Sultan Al-Aradah Attends Graduation Ceremony for Specialized Police Training Courses in Marib

Marib, Yemen – Sultan Al-Aradah, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Marib, attended a graduation ceremony today for three specialized training courses held by the General Police Training Center in Marib. The event also featured the presence of Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz.

Importance of Specialized Training

During his speech, Al-Aradah emphasized the significance of conducting specialized and qualitative training programs. He noted that these initiatives enhance the capabilities of security forces, improve their performance, and equip them with the latest theoretical knowledge and practical training. This preparation enables officers and personnel to fulfill their security duties with professionalism and competence, aligning with the overarching vision of the police force.

Commitment to Continuous Training

Al-Aradah highlighted the necessity of ongoing specialized training for all security and police personnel across various units. He asserted that building a strong and professional security institution is vital for maintaining public safety, protecting lives and property, and upholding the rule of law.

He encouraged graduates to apply the skills and knowledge they acquired during their training in the field. This application will enhance their performance and ensure they are ready to meet the challenges they face. Al-Aradah reaffirmed his commitment to providing essential support for all security units and to continuously developing their infrastructure and training programs to ensure maximum readiness.

Shared Responsibility for Security

The member of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed that establishing a secure environment is a collective responsibility. It does not rest solely on the police; rather, it involves every community member and institution. He called for a comprehensive model of fruitful cooperation to build a safe and stable society where everyone can live in peace.

Al-Aradah underscored the importance of strengthening the relationship between security personnel and the community. He advocated for increased collaboration and coordination, maintaining mutual trust, and raising community awareness about the need to adhere to laws and report any activities that threaten public safety.

Gratitude for Security Forces

In his address, Al-Aradah expressed gratitude to the brave members of the armed forces, security personnel, and popular resistance fighters for their significant sacrifices in defending the nation, protecting citizens, and combating crime. He praised the commitment of President Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to ongoing training and support for both security and military institutions.

Overview of Training Courses

Brigadier General Khaled Al-Sabbahi, Director of the General Police Training Center in Marib, explained that the specialized courses lasted several months and aimed to train security personnel in three key areas: Trainer Qualification, Special Operations, and Skills Development. This initiative forms part of the training program for the police training center for the year 2024.

Graduates Express Appreciation

The graduates expressed their gratitude to Sultan Al-Aradah for his significant interest in the security institution and his continuous support for its various activities. They acknowledged his efforts to meet their training needs, which have allowed them to keep pace with rapid security developments.
