In a significant development marking the resumption of crucial air connectivity, Aden International Airport today welcomed the first flight from African Express, reigniting the Aden-Mogadishu-Nairobi route after several years of suspension. Mohammed Nasser, the Deputy of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology, highlighted the significance of this resumption. He noted that the flights, scheduled twice a week, are a crucial step towards enhancing mobility and trade between these regions.

Abdulraqeeb Al-Omari, the General Director of Aden International Airport, assured that the airport is fully prepared and ready to receive all flights and airlines. The Somali Ambassador to Yemen, Abdullah Hashi, pointed out the positive impact of reinstating the flight route between Aden and Mogadishu.
