Today, the Marib Governorate initiated a training course aimed at enhancing the skills of 60 health workers from cholera treatment centers and health facilities in the region. This program focuses on cholera case management and infection control, organized by the Office of Public Health and Population in Marib.
The four-day course, conducted in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and funded by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), aims to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge. The training will cover infection prevention, recognizing cholera symptoms, and managing acute watery diarrhea cases effectively.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Abadi, Director of the Health Office, and Dr. Ali Saria, Director of the WHO office in the governorate, emphasized the significance of this training.
