Military Committee Visits Taiz Combat Fronts

On Tuesday, a military committee led by Major General Saleh Hassan, Assistant Minister of Defense, visited the combat fronts in the Taiz military axis. This visit aimed to assess the situation and boost the morale of the troops stationed in the area.

Recognition of Troops’ Morale and Discipline

During the visit, Major General Saleh Hassan praised the high morale and discipline exhibited by the soldiers on the front lines. He emphasized the political and military leadership’s appreciation for their resilience and sacrifices in the face of the enemy. Furthermore, he conveyed the leadership’s congratulations to the troops on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

Commitment to Supporting Fighters

Brigadier General Khaled Fadel, Commander of the Taiz Axis, welcomed the committee members. He highlighted that the visit reflects the Ministry of Defense’s commitment to supporting the fighters. Additionally, he noted that such visits significantly enhance the troops’ morale and improve their combat readiness.

Field Situation Report

During a meeting with the axis leadership, Colonel Abdul Karim Qassem, Deputy Head of Operations, presented a report on the current field situation and combat readiness across various fronts. This report provided crucial insights into the operational capabilities of the forces.

On-Site Inspections by the Committee

The committee, which included several key military figures such as Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Suqalidi, Advisor to the Minister of Defense, and Brigadier General Nasr Shaif, Chief of Staff of the Fourth Military Region, conducted field tours. They inspected frontline positions, visited the eastern entrance of the city, and assessed the conditions and readiness of the fighters.

Troops Express Gratitude

The soldiers stationed at the fronts expressed their gratitude for the committee’s visit. They acknowledged the importance of such engagements in boosting their morale and motivating them to continue fulfilling their national duties with efficiency and dedication.

This visit underscores the ongoing commitment of Yemen’s military leadership to support its forces and maintain high levels of readiness in the face of ongoing challenges.
