On Tuesday, Abdul Rahman Al-Mahrami, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, met with Defense Minister Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari at the Maashiq Palace in Aden, the temporary capital of Yemen.
During the meeting, both leaders engaged in a comprehensive discussion regarding the current military situation. Al-Mahrami received updates on the latest developments in the battlefield against the Houthi militia. He also assessed the combat readiness and discipline of military units across various fronts.
The meeting highlighted the Defense Ministry’s initiatives in training, capacity building, and enhancing defensive capabilities. Minister Al-Daari emphasized that the armed forces operate in complete harmony to confront the Houthi militia effectively.
Al-Mahrami stressed the necessity of developing the armed forces’ capabilities. He underscored the importance of enabling them to fulfill their national duties in maintaining security and stability while countering Houthi violations. He called for enhanced coordination and collaboration among different military formations to consolidate efforts against a common enemy.
