### Houthi Missile Failure Damages Homes in Al-Majma’a, Ibb Governorate

On Sunday, several homes in the town of Al-Majma’a, located in the Ibb Governorate, sustained damage after a ballistic missile launched by Houthi militants failed to reach its target. This incident coincided with a separate missile attack on the nearby city of Taiz.

### Incident Details

Local sources report that the missile, believed to have been fired from a Houthi military camp in the Yareem district of northern Ibb, crashed into residential areas in Al-Majma’a during the early morning hours. The impact caused varying degrees of material damage and instilled fear among local residents.

Despite the Houthi militia cordoning off the area and restricting residents from sharing images or information, some citizens managed to leak photos of the damaged homes, highlighting the extent of the destruction.

### Number of Affected Homes and Concurrent Attacks

Local activist Ibrahim Asqeen confirmed that five homes were damaged, including the residence of citizen Hafiz Allah Qaid Al-Shanini. This missile incident coincided with a Houthi rocket attack targeting residential neighborhoods and civilian structures in Taiz early that same morning.

### Intermittent Explosions and Ongoing Missile Launches

Residents in Ibb and its outskirts reported hearing intermittent explosions throughout the morning, which they believe resulted from ongoing ballistic missile launches by Houthi forces from their positions.

### Ibb as a Launch Platform for Missiles

Reports indicate that since the recent escalation, the Houthi militia has utilized the mountainous terrain and military sites in Ibb as launch platforms for ballistic missiles aimed at Taiz and coastal districts west of Taiz and south of Al-Hudaydah. Several missiles have fallen within the governorate due to failed launches.

The situation remains tense as the conflict continues to escalate, affecting the safety and security of local communities.
