Early this morning, Israeli airstrikes targeted the Al-Bureij refugee camp and the city of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, resulting in the deaths of a doctor and a woman. Additionally, several others sustained injuries during the attacks.
Palestinian medical sources reported that the Israeli bombardment struck tents housing displaced individuals near a school in the Al-Bureij camp. In Deir al-Balah, the airstrikes targeted a residential home, leading to the fatalities and injuries. The assaults coincided with intense artillery and aerial bombardments across various regions in the Gaza Strip, particularly affecting the vicinity of shelters in Beit Lahia in the northern part of the territory.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces arrested five Palestinians during a raid in the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank. The operation included heavy gunfire directed at Palestinian homes, further escalating tensions in the region.
These recent events highlight the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis in the region. As violence continues, the situation remains critical for many families in both Gaza and the West Bank.
