The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Yemen welcomed the statement issued by the Arab League regarding the Houthi attacks on the Yemeni government headquarters in Maasheeq Palace, Aden International Airport, and residential areas in the city of Marib. The statement clearly condemned these attacks, highlighting their severity and blatant violation of international law and humanitarian law.

Support for Yemen’s Sovereignty

In a statement, the ministry appreciated the steadfast Arab position supporting Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. It also acknowledged the support for the Yemeni government and legitimate state institutions. The ministry noted the statement’s call for the international community to assume its responsibilities and take decisive actions to stop these attacks and hold those responsible accountable.
