Armed Forces Continue Advancement in Marib, Liberate Strategic Areas
The Armed Forces continued their field advancement on Tuesday, marking the second consecutive day of progress in the southern front of Marib Governorate as part of the “Dawn of Yemen” operation. This offensive has led to ongoing retreats and significant human and material losses among the Iran-backed Houthi militias.
A military source informed the Armed Forces’ media center that the army’s heroes successfully pushed back the Houthi militias from extensive areas and key strategic sites. Notable locations include the Thamad mountain range, Al-Qaimah, Al-Muqaylat, Akd Al-Qaimah, Al-Rasid, and the surrounding desert areas.
The source added that the clashes resulted in dozens of Houthi fighters being killed, injured, or captured. Additionally, the forces destroyed three military vehicles and incapacitated combat crews, leading to further casualties among those onboard.
The source also noted that air defenses successfully shot down an enemy drone.
Yesterday evening, the Armed Forces thwarted desperate Houthi attempts to regain lost positions since the launch of the “Dawn of Yemen” operation. The militias were forced to retreat and flee after suffering heavy losses in both personnel and equipment.
