Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mokhtar Al-Yafie, visited the ministry’s office in the temporary capital of Aden today. His visit aimed to assess the level of administrative and service performance, monitor the processes for completing citizens’ transactions, and identify the key needs and challenges facing various departments and sections.

Tour of Departments

During the visit, Minister Al-Yafie, accompanied by the Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Aden, Arslan Al-Saqaf, toured several departments. They reviewed the workflow and tasks related to labor relations, legal affairs, employment and inspection, occupational safety and health, and the work connected with civil society organizations. They also examined ongoing records and transactions.

Call for Efficiency

The minister urged for the acceleration of citizens’ transactions, simplification of procedures, and the removal of obstacles for applicants. He emphasized the importance of addressing issues concerning workers and employers in accordance with the law, ensuring that rights are preserved and relationships between labor parties are regulated.

Support for Civil Society Organizations

Al-Yafie highlighted the necessity of facilitating transactions for civil society organizations. He called for enhancing the office’s role in organizing and monitoring their activities in line with current legislation.
