Youth Ministry signs MoU with National Bank for sports activities support.

Yemen's Ministry of Youth and Sports Partners with National Bank to Boost Sports and Youth Activities

In a significant move to enhance sports and youth activities in Yemen, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, along with the National Bank of Yemen, inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Wednesday. This partnership aims to support various sports and youth activities, infrastructure projects, and investment programs within these sectors.

High-Level Signatories Mark the Occasion

The signing ceremony saw the participation of key figures from both sides. Minister Naif Al-Bakri represented the Ministry of Youth and Sports, while Dr. Mohammed Halboub, Chairman of the Board, signed on behalf of the National Bank. The event was also attended by Dr. Azzam Khalifa, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohsen Ali Bibek, Deputy for Project and Investment Sector, and Ghassan Al-Zamki, Deputy of Aden Governorate for Projects.

A Comprehensive Agreement for Future Growth

The agreement encompasses support for sports and youth activities, including club and general union activities, infrastructure projects, and the sponsorship of a special conference on sports investment scheduled to take place in Aden in the coming months. This partnership is expected to lay a strong foundation for the development and promotion of sports and youth initiatives in Yemen.

Mutual Praise and Commitment to Development

Minister Naif Al-Bakri lauded the National Bank’s efforts in supporting various sports activities across Aden and other provinces, including the Aden Ramadan Championship for institutions and companies. He emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to developing its relationship with the bank to enhance the investment role in uplifting the sports and youth sectors.

On the other side, Dr. Mohammed Halboub, the Chairman of the National Bank, reaffirmed the bank’s dedication to partnering with the Ministry of Youth and Sports. He stressed the importance of such collaborations in serving sports and youth activities and projects.

This partnership marks a pivotal step towards fostering sports and youth initiatives in Yemen, highlighting the critical role of public-private partnerships in driving social development and engagement in the sports sector.
