The Yemen Meteorological Center, operating under the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology, has released its weather forecast for Wednesday. The report indicates that coastal regions will experience hot to very hot and humid weather, while the mountainous areas are likely to face thunderstorms. Additionally, the forecast includes partly cloudy skies with a chance of scattered rain in the Socotra Archipelago, accompanied by light to moderate winds.
Residents along the coast can expect hot and humid weather conditions. The sky will be partly cloudy, with a potential for scattered rain.
In the mountainous areas, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy and moderately warm. Thunderstorms are possible in the western and southwestern highlands, affecting parts of Hadramout.
The desert and plateau regions will remain dry, with partly cloudy skies. Daytime temperatures are forecasted to be extremely high, while nights will experience moderate temperatures. Winds are expected to be moderate to active, stirring up dust and sand.
Residents are advised to avoid areas prone to flash floods and valleys during rain events. Caution is recommended due to the potential for storms, lightning, and strong winds. Additionally, individuals are encouraged to limit direct sun exposure during midday hours in coastal and desert regions, as increased humidity may elevate perceived temperatures beyond actual readings.
For those at sea, the coastal areas of Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan, Aden, Bab al-Mandab, and the western coasts are expected to experience calm sea conditions. In contrast, the coasts of Al-Mahrah and the Socotra Archipelago should prepare for light to moderate waves. The Red Sea is also forecasted to remain calm, while the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Aden will see light to moderate conditions.
Fishermen and individuals venturing out to sea should exercise caution due to increased wind activity and potential rough seas around Socotra, the Arabian Sea, and the eastern Gulf of Aden.
Stay informed and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during this weather period.
