Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Today, Dr. Shaya Mohsen Al-Zandani, Yemen’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed Janet Seppen, the Dutch Ambassador to Yemen. During their meeting, the two officials explored various avenues to enhance cooperation between Yemen and the Netherlands across multiple sectors.

Gratitude for Support

At the outset of the meeting, Prime Minister Al-Zandani expressed his sincere gratitude for the support provided by the Dutch government to Yemen. He underscored the significance of continuing this assistance to improve the economic and service conditions within the country. In addition, he extended his congratulations to Ambassador Seppen on the recent formation of the new Dutch government, reiterating Yemen’s commitment to fortifying bilateral relations and expanding cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations.

Commitment to Improvement and Stability

During their discussion, Prime Minister Al-Zandani highlighted the Yemeni government’s ongoing efforts to enhance basic services and promote security and stability. He detailed a series of economic and administrative reforms aimed at achieving lasting stability and alleviating the hardships faced by Yemeni citizens.

In response, Ambassador Seppen reaffirmed the Netherlands’ commitment to supporting the Yemeni government. She commended the efforts made by Yemen to attain stability and improve overall conditions, reiterating her country’s dedication to continuing its support across various sectors.

This meeting represents a significant step towards reinforcing the partnership between Yemen and the Netherlands, with a focus on shared goals and mutual benefits.
