The Republic of Yemen recently marked its participation in the “Closing Ceremony” organized by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, signifying the conclusion of Hajj Season 1447 AH. The Yemeni delegation was headed by Sheikh Turki Al-Wad’i, the Minister of Endowments and Guidance, who also serves as the Head of the Office of Yemeni Pilgrims.
During the ceremony, Minister Al-Wad’i received the “Preliminary Arrangements” document for Hajj Season 1448 AH. This essential document outlines the organizational procedures and early arrangements aimed at enhancing planning efficiency and improving the quality of services provided to pilgrims. It also emphasizes the critical importance of coordination among relevant authorities to achieve the highest standards of service excellence for those participating in the Hajj.
The ceremony was attended by Assistant Undersecretaries Tariq Al-Qurashi and Aref Al-Barkani, along with several other leaders from the ministry. Their presence underscores Yemen’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and successful Hajj experience for its citizens.
