Yemen Condemns Attack Near Syrian Defense Ministry

The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation of the recent bombing that targeted the vicinity of a building belonging to the Syrian Ministry of Defense in Damascus. This tragic incident has resulted in numerous casualties and injuries, prompting an urgent response from the Yemeni government.

Solidarity with Syria

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry expressed Yemen’s unwavering solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic. Yemen stands firmly alongside the Syrian government and its people in their ongoing battle against all forms of terrorism and criminal acts that jeopardize their security, stability, and territorial integrity.

Commitment to Syrian Sovereignty and Condolences

Yemen reiterated its steadfast support for Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. The country firmly rejects all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism that contradict humanitarian values and international law. Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the Syrian government and its people, as well as to the families of the victims. Yemen also wishes for a swift recovery to those injured in this attack.
